Amy E. Martinez
Amy Martinez is an Associate in the real estate finance and corporate securities sections of the firm.
Mrs. Martinez began her legal career as an attorney at Brady, Vorwerck, Ryder & Caspino. There, she handled a wide variety of cases including construction defect litigation and general casualty defense. Mrs. Martinez also worked as a civil defense attorney at Rinos & Martin defending doctors, hospital, cities, counties, and police departments. Her strong speaking, research and writing skills have enabled her to achieve successful results for clients very early in her career.
Mrs. Martinez graduated Valedictorian from Chapman University School of Law in 2006. At Chapman, she served as a pro bono advocate for the Ninth Circuit Appellate Law Clinic. As an advocate, Mrs. Martinez presented an immigration case at oral argument before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. During law school she also served as an Editor on both the Chapman Law Review and the Nexus Law Journal. Throughout her education, Mrs. Martinez earned numerous awards for her academic achievements. In 2006, Mrs. Martinez was admitted to California Bar and the U.S. District Court, Central District of California.
Prior to law school, Mrs. Martinez served as a fundraising consultant at the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County for three years. At the Food Bank, Mrs. Martinez coordinated the Grants & Foundations Program which included an annual grant goal of $510,000. Additionally, she co-managed the Food Bank’s Annual Events Program by recruiting high-end sponsors and coordinating all event logistics.
Mrs. Martinez lives in Anaheim with her husband, George, and son, Benjamin.
